Cancellations and Refunds Policy

This Cancellations and Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds for purchases made through our website. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Terms

  • This policy applies to all services, products, and events offered through the Ram Astha website, including but not limited to pooja bookings, spiritual consultations, religious merchandise, and event registrations.
  • All purchases are subject to the terms outlined in this policy, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
  • Ram Astha reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The updated policy will be posted on our website and will apply to all purchases made after the update.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Pooja and Spiritual Services

  • Cancellations by Customer:
    • Cancellations for pooja or spiritual services must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time.
    • To cancel, please contact our support team at support@ramastha.com or through the “My Bookings” section on our website.
    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service time will not be eligible for a refund, but you may reschedule the service (subject to availability) within 30 days of the original date.
  • Cancellations by Ram Astha:
    • In the rare event that Ram Astha cancels a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., priest unavailability or technical issues), you will be notified immediately, and you may choose either a full refund or a rescheduling of the service at no additional cost.

2.2 Events and Retreats

  • Cancellations by Customer:
    • Cancellations for events or spiritual retreats must be made at least 7 days prior to the event date to be eligible for a refund (subject to applicable processing fees).
    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable, but you may transfer your registration to another person with prior approval from Ram Astha.
    • To cancel, please email support@ramastha.com with your booking details.
  • Cancellations by Ram Astha:
    • If an event or retreat is canceled by Ram Astha, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to a future event of equivalent value.

2.3 Products (Merchandise)

  • Cancellations by Customer:
    • Orders for physical products (e.g., religious artifacts, books, or prasad) can be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the item has not yet been shipped.
    • To cancel, please contact support@ramastha.com with your order number.
    • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled but may be eligible for a return (see Section 3.2 below).
  • Cancellations by Ram Astha:
    • If Ram Astha is unable to fulfill an order due to stock unavailability or other issues, you will be notified, and a full refund will be issued.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Pooja and Spiritual Services

  • Refunds for canceled pooja or spiritual services (made at least 48 hours in advance) will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
  • A processing fee of 5% of the service cost may be deducted to cover administrative expenses.
  • No refunds will be issued for services canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time or for no-shows.

3.2 Products (Merchandise)

  • Returns:
    • Products may be returned within 15 days of delivery if they are defective, damaged, or not as described.
    • To initiate a return, contact support@ramastha.com with your order number and a description of the issue, including photos if applicable.
    • Return shipping costs will be borne by Ram Astha for defective or damaged items. For other returns, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
  • Refund Process:
    • Once the returned product is received and inspected, a refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
    • Refunds will include the product cost, excluding any shipping fees paid at the time of purchase.
    • Products must be returned in their original packaging and unused condition to be eligible for a refund.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Perishable items (e.g., prasad or consumables), personalized products, and digital downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable.

3.3 Events and Retreats

  • Refunds for canceled event or retreat registrations (made at least 7 days in advance) will be processed within 7-10 business days, subject to a 10% processing fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event or for no-shows.

4. Exceptions

  • In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies or bereavement), Ram Astha may consider partial refunds or credits at its sole discretion. Please contact support@ramastha.com with supporting documentation for such requests.
  • Refunds for payments made through third-party platforms (e.g., payment gateways) may be subject to their respective policies and processing times.
