Mission
At Ram Astha Mission Foundation, our mission is to restore nature through faith-driven ecological action, integrating spirituality, science, and sustainability to protect and regenerate the environment. We are committed to healing the Earth by nurturing its most essential element — the soil. Inspired by the teachings of Lord Ram and rooted in the values of Sanatan Dharma, we believe that true Astha (faith) is expressed through karma (action), particularly actions that honor and preserve life in all its forms. Through our pioneering RAM VAN Technique, inspired by the Miyawaki forest model, we aim to create dense, biodiverse, and self-sustaining urban forests. What sets our method apart is our deep commitment to soil health restoration — a foundation often overlooked in modern plantation practices. By revitalizing depleted soils with carefully selected organic, traditional, and natural inputs, we are building an environment where trees not only survive but thrive, where ecosystems flourish, and where biodiversity finds a home.

Vision
We envision a greener, more conscious world where environmental restoration is both a spiritual responsibility and a community movement. Through our efforts, we seek to foster a new culture of eco-conscious living rooted in Indian traditions and guided by the values of devotion, duty, and sustainability. Our vision extends beyond planting trees — we aim to rebuild ecosystems from the ground up, beginning with the soil. We believe healthy soil is the key to a healthy planet. By combining traditional wisdom with innovative environmental practices, we are transforming barren lands into thriving green sanctuaries — forests that not only cleanse the air but also nurture the soul.
My journey began as a career dedicated to forests and now my passion for forests is a calling that resonates deeply within me. I feel privileged to be a part of Ram Astha Mission where I can contribute and play a role towards maintaining the biodiversity, climate change and human well being!
As a dedicated wildlife expert and an IFS of 1985 batch, I have transitioned from a professional interest in forests to a passionate commitment to conservation. Through my collaboration with Ram Astha Mission Foundation, I am contributing to a global initiative to create and restore forests, promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship. Our collective goal is to foster a deeper connection with nature and inspire a sense of responsibility towards the planet's ecosystems.
